This headstone data comes from the town of Katherine in the Northern Territory. The cemetery itself is located on the road to Katherine Gorge, just before leaving the built-up area and just across the road from the popular Knotts Crossing Resort.The data listed does not include all names, mostly because I have not yet had time to gather the data, but it covers those headstones in the area of older interments. More modern placements are in the lawn cemetery style and include a greater percentage of modern burials.
The cemetery itself is neat and well-kept, with trees and palms arcing overhead to help make the site a cool and restful one.
