Crookston cemetery

Crookston is quite close to Heriot in that part of Otago south of the Clutha River, in the South Island of New Zealand. It is a rural area with significant hills, and with mountains to the west. The land was donated by the SIM family for the purpose and is currently (2018) beautifully maintained by sexton K. Sim who has a great number of his family interred there.

Coming from Dunedin the most convenient route is via Lawrence, then continuing west and over the river towards Roxburgh and turning left at Rae's Junction to take the Tapanui highway.
