TASMANIAN PIONEERS FILE

This file is an outgrowth of the First Fleet file and shows the various extensions of families forward in time towards today, with many intersecting the other Tasmanian file (BENDER) and meant to form a bridge between the various sets of data available in print, such as 'Founding Families of Australia', by Mollie Gillen, and the various pioneer publications by C.J. Smee.
All of these researchers have done remarkably well and it is only now with the convenience of computers can we cross-reference the information and correct suddenly obvious flaws. In doing so certain assumptions are made that may be erroneous in themselves, so please LET US KNOW if you have reason to correct us in turn. Remember, the internet is a 'now' medium, and unlike books, errors can be corrected almost instantly.
