This is one of three interconnected files derived from family histories generously loaned by Alex Honneck and his wife of Queensland. The histories relate to families who first arrived at South Australia, then trekked overland, for the most part, to the region inland of Portland Bay, Victoria. The three files are HUF, MIBUS and MIRTSCHIN, and each in turn links to WECKERT, KORBER, BLUCHER, and the original SA file. The HUF file in particular is a very large one, and all the families spread throughout Australia over time.
One of the prime functions of this website is to obtain and present family histories in this way, so making their exquisite detail and effort available to a wider audience. We salute the people who created the books, and their hardy ancestors.
