The Hawera cemetery is on the SE side of Mt. Taranaki (Egmont) in the Taranaki region of New Zealand. The information presented here is almost exclusively derived data rather than actual headstone material, for I for one have never been to this cemetery. evertheless, it affects many of the genealogies on this site and so this cemetery and others of pioneering significance will eventually be included.
