GINGIN (WA): Archive

Gingin is about 70 km north of Perth and has its original cemetery next to the church in town plus this more extensive one about 800 m up the road. In general the church burials predate those in the larger cemetery on the hill.

Inland and in the hills are the small townships of Toodyay and Bindoon, each with historical significance, while another area of settlement close to present day Geraldton (Greenough) is nearly 300 km further north.

We have now gone to a live on-line database called MOP ('Myra's Other Place') and the records listed below are steadily being copied over. Once a record is there a green tick will show alongside the entry. The MOP database has a lot more than just cemetery records and is worth checking out here where you can log in as Guest password guest.
