Duaringa is a truckstop on the main highway between Rockhampton and Blackwater. The main cemetery is right beside the highway in the center of the township, on the left when entering from Rockhampton. It is very well kept, with daily watering and regular mowing; truly an example.
In spite of only being a service center for the surrounding stations, it does have some interesting entries. In addition to the main cemetery, a second collection of gravestones may be found at the old hall. Turn right at the two service stations and drive for about 200 meters.
