These records are complete except for the couple that are indecipherable or generally more recent than 1950. The records that are listed past that date have obvious links to older families. Capella is on the road between Emerald and Clermont, on the highest part of the rolling inland downs country. It has grown as a junction for roads running north-south and east-west, and as a grain loading terminal for locally grown wheat and sunflowers and barley. Nearby are the sharp peaks of Twin Peaks National Park, unexpected against the otherwise endless rolling ridges.

The cemetery can be found by turning off at the Pioneer center, and continuing along Walsh road to the very end. It is a tidy if small area, with relatively newly planted shade trees.
