The ferry is of the cable type, and was once used at the river entrance to the Daintree. A cable is permanently attached to each side, and a pulley on the ferry allows the vessel to track back and forward. The motive power is provided on one side by a Toyota 4WD, and on the other by the Council grader (see other pic). Use your BACK button to return to previous screen and frames
